What is involved in a Physiotherapy session?

At Ace all Physiotherapy Consults are purely one-on-one and are up to 40 minutes in duration. Initial consults involve a detailed period of Assessment and commencement of a treatment plan as provided by your treating Physio based on our findings. At Ace, our Physiotherapists are trained in Manual and Passive Therapies including Massage, Joint Mobilisations, Dry Needling, Cupping and Shockwave therapy. In tandem our therapists are highly skilled in providing Active, Exercise-Based therapies to address any underlying injuries, improve Strength, Mobility, Conditioning and overall Function.

What if I cannot make my appointment?

If you are unable to make your appointment, please contact our team atleast 24 hours prior to your scheduled consult to reschedule. This can be done via mobile or email. As per our cancellation policy; with the exception of sickness or emergencies, failure to attend your appointment or provide 24 hours of notice for reschedules may incur a cancellation fee.

Do you Bulk Bill?

The team at Ace do not offer bulk billing. This is primarily due to the extensive nature of our assessments both in terms of time and treatment. Our Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology Consults span a 40 minute one-on-one appointment, allowing us to fully Assess, Treat and provide independent Home Exercise/Management to address whatever your underlying impairments may be. Under the Medicare, GP's are able to prescribe Care Plans to address Chronic injuries or disease. Through this scheme you are entitled to a $60.30 rebate for each approved appointment.
